Abstract
Reports on the trial and implementation of a regular newsletter, aimed at giving parents information about the mathematics their children (new entrants to year 3) were learning at school, as an attempt to cross the home-school boundary and encourage parental involvement. Focuses on the perception of parents of the current situation and their experiences with the newsletter in terms of their support for their child’s mathematical learning. (Editor)
