Two surveys were available in Term 3, 2009, with some additional new features.
This survey tool is for students in Years 7-10. It provides schools with rich data on aspects of student engagement in school and learning.
What's new
We have added six questions about students’ reading habits, and four general questions about routines. These are intended as contextual information to put alongside the engagement data.
Details: Me and My School
What do the teachers really think of the job and their working conditions? This is a confidential online survey tool specifically designed to determine how well your school is functioning.
What's new
This year, in response to demand, we have added a new feature which enables schools to customise their survey by adding some of their own questions.
Details: Teacher Workplace Survey
Online registration for surveys have closed for 2009.
Who can use the surveys
The Me and My School survey is for students in Years 7-10. Students fill out the questions on paper or online and their responses are anonymous. The tool enables student engagement to be compared to national norms and to be tracked over time.
We recommend the Teacher Workplace Survey for schools with 10 or more teachers. It is suitable for staff with at least a 0.5 teaching load. The survey is filled out online and is totally confidential. The tools allow schools to view reports relating to group responses, including question-by-question analysis, and comparison to national trends.
Discount for doing both surveys
Schools that choose to carry out both the Me and My School survey and the Teacher Workplace Survey are able to receive a discount. The base price of $200 for the second survey is reduced to $100. All other per student/per teacher costs remain the same. See the individual survey pages for details. |
