Kimikupu Hou has moved

Kimikupu Hou is a searchable database of new and technical Mäori vocabulary.

Originally on this website, it can now be found at Wakareo ä-ipurangi: online Mäori-English-Mäori lexicon.   This site features many Mäori language resources including separate Mäori-English and English-Mäori dictionaries, lexicons, and word-lists.

Please note: Wakareo ä-ipurangi operates a subscription-based service.
For any one-off or special requests on Wakareo, contact Wordstream.

Te Taura Whiri i Te Reo Mäori, The Mäori Language Commission, was set up under the Mäori Language Act 1987 to promote the use of Mäori as a living language and as an ordinary means of communication.   They are currently constructing a monolingual Mäori dictionary.
View the Te Taura Whiri website, or contact them for help with the Mäori language.
