Spell Right: The Essential Lists (CD-ROM)

An interactive CD-ROM based on the well-known Spell-Write book.

This CD-ROM is designed as part of the variety of activities that form the classroom spelling programme.  It allows students to:

• direct their own learning by selecting the word list they want to practise
• work in an interactive way with prompt feedback
• work at their own pace
• pre-test words
• practise words until they are confident to test them.

The key features of the CD-ROM are:

• The words from each list come up at random each time so that students can expect to practise their words in a different order each time they use the CD-ROM.
• There is a range of activities for each stage of learning.
• Feedback is given at each stage to enhance learning.
• There is an audio option so that students can hear, as well as see, each word.
