An overview of the use of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) within Australia

This guide provides a comprehensive review of selected Australian studies conducted over the past 20 years that have used the Child Behaviour Checklist. The strengths and weaknesses of the CBCL for use in the Australian population are highlighted. In particular, the report discusses:

• suitability of the CBCL factor structure and normative data in Australian samples, with reference to large-scale Australian prevalence studies and similar morbidity studies
