The APAT was designed to identify students who are at risk of developing, or may be experiencing, auditory processing disorder. Subtest scores yield composite scores for global auditory processing, linguistic processing (with additional composites: discrimination, sequencing, and cohesion), and auditory memory (with additional composites: immediate, delayed, and sequential).
