The CASI is a 130-item self-administered and self-scored instrument which is designed to help identify and clarify career problems. It is intended to stimulate constructive discussion in individual or group settings. The CASI surveys nine areas of career or work adaptation:
A special section on the answer sheet allows clients to check specific areas of concern from a list of 21 potential career obstacles.
