This surveillance and monitoring instrument is employed by professionals or trained paraprofessionals to determine if a child's development is within the normal range. It is a useful instrument for Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) and identifying children at risk. The results are not diagnostic. It is to be used with children birth to six years of age.

DENVER II Test Forms

Forms come in pads of 100, with an age scale based on The American Academy of Pediatrics recommended health maintenance visits and a behavior rating scale.

DENVER II Training DVD or Videotape (Introduction)

To be used in conjunction with the Technical Manual and its written Proficiency. To enhance teaching and learning skills use with the DENVER II Item Administration DVD or Videotape (described below). Revised in 1993 to reflect changes in scoring, interpretation and referral.

Experienced screeners know: DENVER II items must be administered correctly - or test results are invalid. Now the DENVER II Item Administration Videotape or DVD demonstrates how to accurately administer and score each of the DENVER II's 125 items. This program is designed for use with the DENVER II Training DVD or Videotape. Length: 85 minutes
