The G-MAP is an 85-item questionnaire that assesses 17 different factors associated with problem gambling. These 17 factors are divided into five broad groups:
- Beliefs about winning
- Attitudes to self
- Feelings and emotional states
- Social interactions
- Situations and contexts
The G-MAP is designed to provide a map of relevant treatment issues and has been developed for use with anyone who has a gambling problem. It is appropriate for people with both mild and severe problems, and is applicable to all forms of gambling.
