The PHCSCS-2 is a quick and comprehensive measure of self-concept in children or adolescents. It provides a screener for individuals who may require further assessment and treatment. There are 60 items covering six subscales — behavioural adjustment, freedom from anxiety, intellectual and school status, happiness and satisfaction, physical appearance and attributes, and popularity. Additionally, there are two validity scales for inconsistent responding and random responding.
