Situational Safety Awareness
The Situational Safety Awareness test assesses the safety risk in terms of what the individual brings with them to the workplace. The test provides an assessment of the individuals capacity to operate safely and unencumbered by deficiencies in safety competency, behavioural tendencies or perspectives as well as their mental state.
The survey assess three core constructs:
- Safety Competency
- Safety Perspectives (Attitudes/Self-Report Behaviours)
- Personal Status
Assessment is by one final cutting score and comparison against incident free occupational group norms for various industries. Industries include:
- Mining
- Road Transport
- Building Construction
- Industrial
- Civil Engineering

Behavioural Safety Test
The Behavioural Safety Test is a short form of the comprehensive SSA test. It focuses on key behaviours for lower hazard roles, such as administration and retail. This test has 65 questions and takes only 10 minutes.
