ITO Workplace Assessment Structures
Research theme:
The ITO Workplace Assessment Structures project explores the different structures and systems that Industry Training Organisations can to support and manage assessors and assessment in the workplace. The objectives of the project are:
- To explore models used by ITOs for managing and conducting assessment in the workplace, including support and moderation of assessors/assessment.
- To identify the perceived benefits, strengths, drawbacks, weaknesses that exist in different approaches to the management and conduct of assessment in the workplace.
- To provide ITOs with support to (individually or collectively) refine and potentially improve their approaches to supporting workplace assessors and assessment in the workplace.
The study will result in a published good practice guide for Industry Training Organisations to assist with the development of their assessment systems and practices.
