Special Features

The ASEBA is a comprehensive evidence-based assessment system developed through decades of research and practical experience. The ASEBA assesses competencies, adaptive functioning, personal strengths, and behavioral, emotional, social, and thought problems from age 1½ to 90+ years. 

The CSBI is a parent report (mother or primary female caregiver) measure of sexual behavior in children ages 2-12 years. It is intended for use with children who have been or who may have been sexually abused. The test was developed in response to evidence that sexual abuse is related to the presence of precocious sexual behaviour in children. To fully understand each child and ensure his or her safety, it is essential that the CSBI be used in combination with other clinical measures and procedures.

This revision improves an instrument already viewed as "the gold standard" for observational assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). With updated protocols, revised algorithms, a new Comparison Score, and a Toddler Module, the ADOS-2 provides a highly accurate picture of current symptoms, unaffected by language. It can be used to evaluate almost anyone suspected of having ASD--from 1-year-olds with no speech to adults who are verbally fluent.

Used in research for decades, this comprehensive interview provides a thorough assessment of individuals suspected of having autism or other autism spectrum disorders. The ADI-R has proven highly useful for formal diagnosis as well as treatment and educational planning.

With a new standard version that is equivalent to the original MMSE and new brief and expanded forms, the MMSE-2 retains the original's clinical utility and efficiency while expanding its usefulness in populations with milder forms of cognitive impairment, including sub-cortical dementia.

The DRS-2 measures cognitive function at the lower ability levels and can be used to track changes in cognitive status over time. This second edition incorporates the original 36 DRS tasks and 32 stimuli — an overall level of cognitive functioning is yielded as well as additional information on five additional subscales: attention; initiation/perseveration; construction; conceptualisation; and memory.
