Aronuitia te reo is a deck of cards to help teachers and/or schools who are early in their te reo Māori teaching and learning journeys, and to help with strengthening the provision of te reo learning opportunities. The deck contains three sets of activity cards (and instructions), each with a different focus.
- Whakamahia uses QR codes to provide easy access to te reo Māori resources.
- Whakaarohia is designed to stimulate discussion about the importance of providing students with opportunities to learn te reo Māori.
- Whakarauorahia provides schools with the opportunity to think about how they can contribute to the revitalisation of te reo Māori.
NZCER and NMSSA are offering schools the opportunity to have one or two sets of professionally printed and packaged copies sent to you (for free!) All you need to do is fill in your details here: https://forms.office.com/r/uFRVHGFKNR
Aronuitia te reo, was developed in 2021 by NMSSA and draws on the results of the 2016 NMSSA te reo Māori assessment.
