Abstract

Interviews University of Canterbury Associate Professor Kathleen Quinlivan about the current status of sexualities and relationships education in secondary schools, how current research can support teaching and learning in sexuality education, how the newer sorts of sexuality education that researchers and young people are calling for differ from its more traditional forms, why schools sometimes find it difficult to prioritise sexualities and relationships education, what resources schools could draw on to develop their sexuality education programme, and her new book on the topic.
