The CTI is a self-administered measure of negative career thinking. It may be used for screening and needs assessment as well as a learning resource to help adults, university, and secondary school students. It aims to assist in identifying, challenging, and altering negative career thoughts. The CTI yields a global score and three construct scale scores: decision-making confusion, commitment anxiety, and external conflict.
