Abstract

"Careers" may be a light-hearted game, but the decisions faced by young people leaving school are more serious and complex than ever before. Karen Vaughan discusses the results of the Prospects and Pathways study of young people moving from secondary school to tertiary study or employment, and the interesting light it throws on their attitudes and expectations.
