Science in the curriculum
NZCER has been contracted by the Ministry of Education to deliver a programme of work related to improving achievement in science education. We are working in collaboration with CWA and The University of Waikato. The programme involves three projects, designed to find more effective ways of supporting schools to implement their science curriculum within the framework of The New Zealand Curriculum (2007).
This programme of work is led by Ally Bull (NZCER). The operational management team consists of Ally Bull, Jane Gilbert (NZCER), Kath Norton (CWA) and Cathy Buntting (Waikato). Robyn Baker (NZCER) has responsibility for quality assurance for the overall programme.
