With the introduction of PAT Tuhituhi | PAT Writing, NZCER is now offering a pair of introductory webinars for this new auto-marked, online assessment tool.
These will be brief half-hour sessions with Melissa Denzler, one of our expert Kaitohu Mātauranga / Education Advisors. She will take you through the basics of PAT Tuhituhi, including:
- What the assessment is, how it works and who it’s for
- The writing tasks and genres
- How auto-marking works
- How to use the reports to support teaching and learning
Whether you're a school leader, literacy lead, or classroom kaiako, this webinar will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to bring PAT Tuhituhi into your kura.
These webinars will be the same - you only need to attend one - and there will be an opportunity to submit questions. If we run short on time, we will endeavour to answer all questions through a future FAQ article.
