James is a communications specialist with over ten years of experience in strategic comunications, media, education, and the non-profit sector. At NZCER, he leads communications and public engagement for research projects large and small, as well as our assessments used by more than half of all schools in Aotearoa every year. His work spans strategy, storytelling and data, with a focus on making the complex accessible for the education sector, government, and partner organisations.
