Sagar Vijayan is a systems and project accountant at NZCER, originally from southern India. He has been living in New Zealand for 16 years, having moved to pursue a master's degree in accounting at Victoria University of Wellington. After completion, he chose to settle in New Zealand, drawn by the calm, friendly Kiwi culture and the natural beauty of the country. Over the past six years, he has worked in the education sector, primarily providing finance and accounting support, combining his expertise with a dedication to supporting learning and research. Outside of work, he enjoys cricket, football, hiking, producing electronic music and remixes, occasionally performing as a disc jockey, and spending time with his family.
