What does effective teaching and leadership look like in a digital world?
Drawing on more than a decade of partnership between the Manaiakalani Network and Waipapa Taumata Rau | The University of Auckland, this book brings together the insights of researchers, teachers, and school leaders who have worked collectively to improve outcomes for learners in digital environments.
The chapters are grounded in the experiences of students and whānau across Aotearoa New Zealand and explore the complex craft of teaching, learning, and leading in an increasingly connected world. Through rich research and practical examples, the authors examine what works, why it works, and how educators can apply these insights to create more equitable and effective learning opportunities.
Covering topics such as student engagement, achievement, personal and social development, digital pedagogies, leadership for change, and data-informed inquiry, this volume offers both evidence and practical tools for improving practice.
This book is written for teachers, school leaders, researchers, and anyone interested in digital learning, and provides a resource-rich account of how collaborative research can inform meaningful educational innovation and support success for all learners.
