Grant has considerable experience as a Director/Trustee in a diverse range of industries, covering audit, finance, property, investments, and governance advice. His investment experience includes twelve years as the CEO of Trust Investments Management Limited where he gained experience across Aotearoa, Polynesia and Melanesia.
Currently, Grant is CEO of St John’s College Trust and advises a number of other charities. Grant is also a Trustee of Te Rau Puāwai Education Trust, the New Zealand Heritage Endowment Trust and Chair of Impact Enterprise Partnership GP Limited
Grant has previously held a number of governance roles in the charitable sector, including as Chair of the Graeme Dingle Foundation, a Trustee of the Anglican Church Pension Board and a Director of Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara, chairing its property development subsidiary and as a director of its forestry company.
Grant has found working with Tikanga based and iwi organisations personally enriching, and has given him an understanding of the injustices and challenges encountered, despite the provisions and promises of Te Tiriti.
