Feedback on the draft Mathematics and Statistics learning area content for Years 9–13 was gathered from 27 January to 28 April 2025, primarily through a Ministry of Education online feedback form comprising closed demographic questions, and 12 open-ended feedback questions. The resulting sample was self-selected. 

There were 85 responses to the 2025 feedback form, from schools (76%) or from other people and groups (24%) most of whom had education-related roles. Fifty schools were identified as having provided feedback. Eight additional submissions or emails received by the Ministry of Education were read and included in the analysis of feedback. Feedback is summarised by the below areas:

  • Year 12-13 teaching sequence—statistics
  • Overall feedback and support materials
