Designed primarily for use in English-medium settings, this research-informed card deck focuses on assessment practice and also provides offerings for those who want to begin growing their understanding and use of aromatawai. The cards foster and support discussions around equity, current practice, and opportunities for change.
Kia tōkeke will be available soon for all schools to purchase. This free, in-person workshop is an opportunity for Wellington-based teachers and school leaders to use the card decks with the help of NZCER's Education Advisors and Researchers. At the end of the workshop each school will receive a free deck of cards.
This workshop is ideal for those who lead discussions about and/or aromatawai in their school, or have a keen interest in these topics. Afternoon tea will be provided from 3:30pm. Spaces are limited to 80, so
please register your interest using this link here. We are also exploring bringing this workshop outside Pōneke!
